What Is It?
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a non-surgical face and neck lifting technology that creates thermal effects in deep layers of the skin using high-intensity focused ultrasound energy. It reaches the SMAS layer, providing a surgical lifting-like effect.
How Is It Done?
After applying ultrasound gel, focused ultrasound energy is delivered to depths of 1.5mm, 3mm, and 4.5mm of the skin with the HIFU device. Separate tips are used for each depth. The procedure takes 45-90 minutes, and a single session may be sufficient.
Who Is It For?
Applied to individuals aged 30-65 with sagging in the face and neck area seeking a non-surgical solution. Surgical intervention may be more appropriate for patients with very advanced sagging.
