Botox

What Is It?

Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is a neurotoxin application that temporarily relaxes muscles. It controls excessive movement of mimic muscles to eliminate dynamic wrinkles. It is FDA-approved and the most popular medical aesthetic procedure safely applied to millions of patients worldwide.

How Is It Done?

Before the procedure, facial analysis is performed to determine target muscles. Micro doses of Botulinum Toxin are injected at specific points using extremely fine needles. The procedure takes approximately 15-20 minutes, requires no anesthesia, and patients can return to daily activities immediately. Effects begin within 3-5 days, with full results visible after 10-14 days.

Who Is It For?

It is applied to individuals with forehead lines, glabellar (between the brows) wrinkles, crow's feet (around the eyes), and neck bands. It is also used for medical indications such as migraine treatment, excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), and teeth grinding (bruxism). It is not applied to pregnant or breastfeeding women and those with neuromuscular diseases.
